The portrait is being kept in the Tambov Museum of Regional Ethnography.
Abram Andreievich Boratynsky (the poet's father) was in the emperor
Pavel I military service, went into retirement having the
lieutenant-general rank. Abram Andreievich and his wife Alexandra Fiodorovna,
born Tcherepanova, took up their residence in Mara. Since 1803 till 1806
he had been elected as the Tambov province marshal of the nobility.
