  • G. Labudová, V. Vozárová Hot Wire and Hot Plate Apparatuses for the Measurement of the Thermophysical Properties // Scientific article. Journal "Transactions of the TSTU", vol. 08 , Tambov. TSTU publisher house , 2002. (pdf-file)
Abstract: The paper deals with the measurement of the thermal conductivity using the hot wire method and the thermal conductivity, the effusivity and the thermal diffusivity using the dynamic plate source method. The hot wire apparatus for measurement of the thermal conductivity and the hot plate apparatus for measuremant of the thermal conductivity, the effusivity and the thermal diffusivity of materials are described here. The theory of the hot wire as well as the dynamic plate source method is summarized and uncertainties of the experimental apparatuses are given here in details. Both apparatuses are used for measurement of the thermophysical properties of the plastic material BRALEN SA 200-22. The measurements were performed at room temperature, on air, under atmospheric pressure.
  • L. Vozár, W. Hohenauer An Apparatus for the Thermal Diffusivity Measurement Using the Laser Flash Method with Repeated Pulses // Scientific article. Journal "Transactions of the TSTU", vol. 08 , Tambov. TSTU publisher house , 2002. (pdf-file)
Abstract: The paper deals with the measurement of the thermal diffusivity using the laser flash method with repeated pulses. The flash method with repeated pulses was proposed as an extension of the classical 'one pulse' laser flash method aimed to overcome particular experimental difficulties associated with the measurement of some types of insulators, temperature sensitive materials and large-grain heterogeneous materials. Unlike the other approaches, based on reducing the energy intensity and simultaneously increasing the exposure time (the flash method with extended pulse), or substituting step (continuous) heating for pulse irradiation (the step heating method), respectively, in the flash method with repeated pulses the pulse energy consists of several consecutive pulses periodically applied to the sample front face. The thermal diffusivity is calculated from the resulting temperature rise of the rear face, in a similar way to the standard laser flash method. The paper presents the mathematical basis of the flash method with repeated instantaneous pulses. The simple adiabatic mathematical model as well as the more realistic non-ideal theory that considers heat loss from the sample is reviewed here. The built experimental apparatus that is regularly used for serial measurement of the thermal diffusivity in the Austrian Research Centers (ARC) is described here in details. Results of the thermal diffusivity measurements of CrNi austenitic steel are presented and compared.
  • Matveykin V.G., Putin S.B., Romanov A.D., Yavnik R.M. The Application of the Modern Information Technology in the High-End Scientific Manufacture Management // Scientific article. Journal "Transactions of the TSTU", vol. 08 , Tambov. TSTU publisher house , 2002. (pdf-file)
Abstract: The problems of CALS - technologies application for management of a product life cycle processes are considered. A uniform object of management submits the set of life cycle processes. The model of a small-lot manufacture process of manufacture is constructed, for which the analysis of known ways of the optimum time-table finding is given, and the automated approach to the decision of the optimum time-table finding is described.
  • Meshcheryakov V.N., Korneev S.S. The Double-Engine Cascade Electric Drive // Scientific article. Journal "Transactions of the TSTU", vol. 08 , Tambov. TSTU publisher house , 2002. (pdf-file)
Abstract: The double electric motor is widely used in the crane mechanisms but there are some difficulties. Since the inequality of the engine’s speeds mechanical fluctuations emerge in the steelwork of mechanisms, the electromagnetic modes of both currents of electric motors grow too. The structural scheme of the double-engine inverter-cascade electric motor has been worked out. The model of this electric drive has been worked out and the experiment research has been produced. It is possible to use the system of double engine cascade electric drive in the industrial mechanisms, where the synchronic work of the electric motor is required.
